Delicious breakfasts, and loyal staff.
Loved the riad and its MARVELLOUS location. The packed breakfast had variety of food. Our kudos go to driver for the hospitality! We ordered lunch at Chez Rachid, located minutes away from the venue. This property is equal to 3 stars.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of the old city, making it a great base to explore the nearby attractions of the Medina. Additionally, the staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. Lastly, the breakfast included in the stay was delicious and served with great attention to detail.
No improvement necessary, everything was fantastic.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who provided clear communication and helpful tips on the hotel facilities, location, and nearby landmarks. The breakfast was different every day and always fresh, filling, and satisfying. We also appreciated the attention to detail of the staff, including the professional and friendly taxi drivers recommended by the hotel.
No negatives.

One of the best experiences i've had with a hotel/motel ever. and i do travel a lot. the rooms are (really!) spectacular. You can feel the love the belgium family has invested in every single detail of the decoration. really an amazing place. The owners are always ready to help you with anything you might need (if it's a tip for a safe restaurant or a guide, or really just any typical or atypical tourist questions you might have). everything we bought or booked through them was of great quality (the guide, the food at the Riad, the Wine-that's also a must! :).it is a quiet place, where you can relax on one of the 2 teraces, having dinner or a glas of wine, and after have a great sleep. Not a place for party animals, but Fes is not such a destination anyway :). + : Location, Wine, Service, the Owners, the rooms, the 2 teraces...just everything! :)
The Arabesque room is situated on the ground floor and all windows face the atrium of the house. to some this might be disturbing, wasn't for us though ...but i had to write something at "-"..:)

a very very beautiful riad! just opened. a little paradice itself. we stayed in 4 riads but this was the best by far. a relax place in the middle of the medina, where you can escape from the heat and crowd. managed by a belgium mother and her her daughter. tip. call and ask before to pick you up at one of the entrance gates of the medina. if you know where the riad is you will find it time after time. but the first time it is almost impossible and you will need to pay someone money.
try to knock on the door, the doorbel does not work.

Staying in this beautifully restored Moroccan-style guest house in the historic medina was a truly unique experience. the rooms are exquisitely decorated with traditional mosaics and design elements, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh juices and homemade jams. the hosts were welcoming and helpful with recommendations for local sights and shops. the rooftop terrace offered a stunning view of the city and was a great place to relax after a day of exploring.
The location in the medina can be a bit challenging to navigate for those unfamiliar with the area.

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautifully restored Dar. Excellent service was provided by the lovely family that run Dar El Bali. From the outset they were very welcoming, picking us up from the train station, and displayed great hospitality always offering mint tea with lovely macaroons and biscuits, always welcome after coming in from the unseasonable cold and rain we had during our stay. It was a very authentic experience with the room and Dar being beautifully furnished and decorated. Whilst we don't speak English, communication was never really an issue and some fantastic restaurants were recommended. Breakfast was great and the room was always very clean. Felt like part of the family by the end of our stay. Would definitely choose Dar El Bali again if returning to Fes.

Spent a lovely Xmas in a beautiful guest house in the medina. the two rooftop terraces were perfect for relaxing with nice views. Breakfast was varied and tasty, offering a mix of hot and cold dishes. Location was great, close to the main gate and easy to find. the staff was helpful in arranging a guide for exploring the city's impressive souks.
The room was quite small and lacked storage space for clothes. the shower facilities could have been better, with inconsistent water temperature and low water pressure.

Beautiful Moroccan style, good breakfast selection and excellent service. The decor was stunning with beautiful tile work and intricate wood carvings. We loved the breakfast options and the service was exceptional, with staff being very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very well situated, within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and tourist attractions.
Steep stairs could be difficult for some guests, Wi-Fi signal could be stronger in some rooms. The circular stairs were steep and could be a challenge for guests with mobility issues.
